Dr. Jordan Brunson
Owner
Dr. Brunson was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He began his professional pursuits at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, where he obtained his undergraduate degree. He subsequently earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Brunson served in the U.S. Army for three years. He was stationed at Fort Benning in Georgia and earned the rank of captain, as well as an Army Commendation Medal.
Dr. Brunson relocated to Palmetto in 2011. Since then, he’s completed continuing education courses in pathology, cosmetic dentistry, periodontics, and prosthodontics. When he isn’t studying or augmenting his professional skills, Dr. Brunson enjoys lecturing on dental topics. He regularly shares his knowledge and expertise with peers and dental students. Dr. Brunson proudly holds membership in the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and Kappa Alpha Psi® Fraternity Inc.
When he isn’t developing treatment plans or meeting with patients, you can find. Dr. Brunson likes spending time with his wife Lisa and their two daughters, Josephine and Sadie. Dr. Smith was raised in Augusta, GA. He began his undergrad pursuits at the University of Goergia and later earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1987 at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Smith began his career with his private practice in Loganville, GA until 2015. In 2016, he joined the PFD team and has been an essential part of the company since. Dr. Smith is committed to learning all aspects of dentistry and has completed continuing educational courses in cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and implants. He recently completed training for cometic dentistry at the Las Vegas Institution and has implemented those teachings into our practice. He has been on several dental mission trips to Romania and Brazil. As well as, worked with Goergia Dental Mission of Mercy and participated with volunteer groups to provide dental care to local residents within Georgia. When Dr. Smith isn’t in the office caring for the dental needs of our patients, you can find him visiting his adult children, hiking, trout fishing, or cheering on his Dawgs! Born in Augusta, GA and raised in Fayetteville, GA, Dr. Cameron Cushing has always felt a deep connection to his Georgia roots. He completed his high school education at Starr’s Mill before pursuing his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia (UGA). Driven by a passion for dentistry, he furthered his education at the Dental College of Georgia, where he earned his dental degree. Dr. Cushing is passionate in aesthetic and family dentistry, bringing a keen eye for detail and a compassionate approach to patient care. He is an active member of the Hinman Dental Society, staying at the forefront of dental advancements and practices to provide the best possible care for his patients. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Cushing enjoys a warm family life with his wife and their two beloved dogs. The couple is excitedly expecting their first child, a little boy, this summer. Dr. Cushing looks forward to welcoming the new addition to their family and continuing to serve the community with dedication and expertise.

Dr. Turner Welch was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and a Master’s in Management from Wake Forest University, followed by his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Dental College of Georgia.
As a committed lifelong learner, Dr. Welch is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the Georgia Dental Association (GDA), and the American Dental Association (ADA). He regularly participates in continuing education, with advanced training in digital dentistry, endodontics, and extractions, ensuring his patients benefit from the latest techniques and technology.
Dr. Welch has lived throughout Georgia and most recently called Savannah home before settling in the McDonough area. Outside the office, he enjoys staying active through intramural sports, experimenting in the kitchen, and exploring the outdoors with his wife, Megan, and their dog, Frank.
Dr. Welch is proud to serve the McDonough community as part of the Palmetto Family Dental team. His goal is to provide exceptional, compassionate care while building strong, lasting relationships with his patients and their families.
